Jason Bell, Chair

MBA (2010) London

Jason is Amazon's Head of Marketplace Global Business Development for UK to North America. His previous experience includes Amazon's Fresh grocery business, Rangespan (a retail technology startup acquired by Google), and advising corporate clients with Deloitte Consulting. Jason holds a BS, Finance and Accounting, from Indiana University and an MBA from Oxford University.

Sally Fan, Vice-Chair

MBA (2005) New York

Sally Fan is the CEO of Astraea Capital LLC, a New York based private equity investment company that invests in commercial claims, an emerging alternative asset class. She serves as the President of the Fan Zhongyan Foundation, as a direct descendant of Fan Zhongyan 范仲淹, a founder of Neo-Confucianism and one of the most prominent figures in the history of China. Sally previously worked at Deutsche Bank in New York on the buy-side of private equity, real estate and other alternative asset investment and risk management, and at Ford Motor Company in Michigan on international business development, corporate strategy and engineering. She also worked in the Ministry of Aeronautics and Space in China (an equivalent of NASA).

Abdallah Aldubaikhi

As the CEO of the Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company (SALIC), Riyadh since 2012, Abdullah Aldubaikhi leads SALIC’s visionary plans to contribute to food security through strategic investments across the globalagribusiness value chain. He holds an Executive MBA from Oxford University and B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from KFUPM in Saudi Arabia, and has played diverse management roles in his 20-year professional career.

Abrar Chaudhury

Abrar is a partner in a leading accounting firm with over 15 years’ rich technology, advisory and consulting experience across four continents. He holds a PhD in Climate Change, MBA and MSc in Environmental Change (Distinction) from the University of Oxford and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA). Abrar is currently pursuing projects in climate change, food security and sustainable business. He tutors Oxford MBAs, publishes widely in leading academic journals and regularly presents at global conferences.

Leo Tong Chen

MBA (2001) Shanghai

Leo Tong Chen was a young entrepreneur with his own telecom startup before he joined the Oxford MBA in 2001 with a view to making a career transition, and looking for more global exposure. He was able to fulfil his ambition to change career after the programme but after a short spell in the corporate world Tong Chen returned to entrepreneurship by founding dGav Capital, a venture capital investment management firm focusing on the new material, new energy, electronic vehicles, environment protection, healthcare, biotechnology and artificial intelligence sectors. Leo is a Dean appointee to the Council.

Gilke Eeckhoudt

PG Diploma (2017) Brussels

As Head of Corporate Communications, Ageas - one of Europe's larger insurance companies, Gilke is responsible for the Group’s global communications strategy and the management of all aspects of the communications mix including internal and external communications, crisis communications, issue tracking, media relations, social media, branding, PR and sponsorship. Gilke is an alumna of Ghent University, Harvard and Saïd Business Schools.

Betty Lam

MBA (1997) Hong Kong

Betty is one of the founding members of the OBA Hong Kong Chapter and served on the committee until 2018. She is a seasoned e-commerce and digital professional, and is currently VP of e-Travel Retail at DFS Group Ltd.

Joyce Meng

MFE (2009) New York

Joyce is passionate about social entrepreneurship and impact investing. She is the co-founder and CEO of Givology (www.givology.org),a 100% volunteer-run online giving marketplace for education which connects donors to grassroots projects and student scholarships around the world. For her work, Joyce has been recognized as Forbes “30 under 30” in education (2014) and Wharton’s “40 under 40” (2015). Outside of Givology, Joyce works in the investment industry. She is Partner and Managing Director of Vernier Capital, a fundamentals-driven global long-short equity investment fund. She graduated summa cum laude from the Huntsman Program of the University of Pennsylvania. As a Rhodes Scholar, she completed with distinction the MSc Economics for Development and MSc Financial Economics degrees at Oxford. Andrew Ng

MBA (2016) Perth, WA

Andrew joined McKinsey & Company upon completing the Oxford MBA on a full scholarship. He has interests in strategy, finance and social impact. After completing a Finance Honours degree at UWA, Andrew began his career in strategy consulting with PwC in Perth, focusing on the mining and healthcare sectors. He then moved into the non-profit sector, joining a newly formed Strategy team at Brightwater Care Group, one of WA's larger providers of aged care and disability services. A CFA charterholder, Andrew has prior exposure to investment banking in Hong Kong, venture capital in Silicon Valley, financial markets in London and Singapore, and has published academic research on asset pricing. Andrew also has prior military experience, serving in the Singapore Army and is an active member of the Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum.

Nennia Orji

MEng Engineering, Economics and Management (2006) London

Nennia is a Manager in PwC’s UK Consulting Practice, providing strategic and operational advisory services to clients across a number of sectors. Having lived in several countries and worked with clients around the world, Nennia has a varied international background and an appreciation for working with individuals of different cultures.  Nennia is a Dean appointee to the Council.

Nabilah Soobedaar

MBA (2016) Johannesburg

Nabilah Soobedaar is currently designing the strategy and driving implementation of the Public Policy and Responsible Business programs for Deloitte Africa. She has a PG Diploma in Accountancy and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of KwaZulu-Natal as well as an MBA from Oxford Saïd.

Dave Shull

Dave Shull is Chief Executive Officer for The Weather Channel television network with 20 years of experience in media, distribution and telecommunications. His specialties include content acquisition, marketing TV & video to consumers, digital online video, media operations, venture capital fundraising, product management, mergers and acquisitions.  He is a graduate of both Harvard University and Oxford Saïd.

Denis Soloviev

Denis is President of the OBA Russia Chapter, Chief Investment Officer for Ulmart group (Russia's #1 wholesale non-food retailer), advisor to Alfa Bank Executive Board and Founder of SR Consulting Ltd – a company focusing on corporate strategies in finance. Denis holds an MSc in Theoretical Physics from Moscow State University, an MSc in Financial Management from Institute of International Law and Economics named after A.C. Griboedov and a PhD in International Private Law from the Academy of State Service of Russia. Denis studied the Executive MBA at Oxford Saïd. He lives in Moscow with his wife and two sons.

Gayathri Sudhakaran

Gayathri is Global Head of Digital Product and Design at Aviva. She leads digital product development to deliver world class customer experience working with markets around the globe. Gayathri has more than 20 years of experience in product management, consumer propositions and business strategy, and is known as a business leader with a unique mix of digital, customer experience, product management, and proposition skills. Born and raised in India, Gayathri has a first class degree in computer engineering and an Oxford MBA with distinction. Gayathri serves as the guest speaker at various alumni events and is a member of St Anne’s college. She lives in London with her family.

Sissi is the Chief Operations Officer of Tinylogics, a Medtech Startup founded in Cambridge. She previously studied and worked in Australia, before completing the Oxford MSc Financial Economics. Sissi is also Secretary of the Oxford Business Alumni Beijing Chapter and has been actively involved in business-related alumni activities.

Rachael Wagner

MBA (2004) New York

Rachael Wagner is Managing Director at Atairos, a private firm specializing in complex, long-horizon investments based in New York. She previously held investing roles at Lindsay Goldberg, Lion Capital and Blackstone. Rachael received her BA from Harvard University and her MBA and MSc in Comparative Social Policy from Oxford University, where she was a Rhodes Scholar.

Lance Wobus

MBA (2002) Delray Beach

Lance Wobus is an MD candidate at St George’s University and intend to specialize in psychiatry. I am particularly interested in the evolving role of technology in medicine as well as recent advances in precision medicine, Darwinian medicine, and related fields. He intends to explore these further in his medical training, clinical practice, and/or corporate role in a health technology company. Lance continues to maintain an interest in physics and medical book publishing, his two previous careers, as well as entrepreneurship.

Steven Yamshon

Steven Yamshon is currently the Chief Investment Officer of Stevens First Principles Investment Advisors and the Managing Partner of Jung, Novikoff & Stevens, LLP.  He is also an adjunct professor of investment finance at the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management and UCLA Extension. He is a board member of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He earned his B.S. Degree from California State University, Sacramento, and Oxford Diplomas in Financial Strategy, Global Business, and Strategy and Innovation.
