Dhiraj Daryani

Co-Chair

Dhiraj Daryani is an MBA student at Oxford Saïd. He has more than eight years of consulting and market research experience in both public and private sectors. He has led projects throughout the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa regions for multinational and local technology companies, as well as government regulatory bodies. Having lived in the Middle East region for over 20 years, Dhiraj has developed a deep understanding of business processes and practices in the region, and acquired insightful knowledge of the region's culture and traditions.
Prior to his MBA, Dhiraj led research and consulting projects and provided expert insights on market dynamics, industry trends, and vendor strategies across the emerging MEA region (Middle East & Africa) on technology areas such as Big Data & Business Analytics, Cloud Computing, Enterprise Applications, Enterprise Mobility, Middleware & Databases, and Social Business & Collaboration. He also engaged closely with CxOs and senior business leaders through regular discussions, in which he provided guidance on enterprise IT strategies.
Dhiraj frequently speaks at technology forums and conferences. He is often quoted in the media, providing opinion and analysis on emerging technologies.

 

 

Muhammed Emin Torunoglu 

Co-Chair

Muhammed Emin has 7+ years of experience in government, international trade, international development and consulting. He conducted research and designed policy documents regarding complex and multifaceted issues such as competition, international regulations and regional development.
He has extensive research capabilities combined with field experience and talent for adapting best practices to a given ecosystem. He was in charge of implementing several government/business strategies.
He also has a widespread network across international organizations, governmental bodies, and clusters. His specialities include: Strategical Policy Design, International Trade, Mergers & Acquisitions, Development, International Standards, Competition, State Aids, and Clusters & SMEs.

Harshit Kabra

Committee Member - Education & Consulting

Harshit is currently pursuing his MBA at Oxford Saïd. Prior to entering the MBA programme, he set up his own educational venture in India, creating his team of teachers and office staff, and led to expansion of the institute to 3 locations within the first year.
Prior to that, he has worked as an associate at ZS associates, a leading sales and marketing consulting firm at their India and US offices, where he worked on developing launch strategies and monitoring performance of multi-million dollar drugs in the US market. Harshit holds an engineering degree in metallurgical and materials sciences from National Institute of Technology, India and is passionate about the booming consulting and marketing industries in the Middle East and South East Asia.

 

Noura Ismail

Committee Member - Public Sector

Noura is currently an MBA candidate at Oxford Saïd. She has spent many years working to promote financial inclusion within vulnerable populations and communities with a specific emphasis on the Middle East. Prior to her MBA, she helped facilitate the operations of several development finance companies and international charities based throughout the Middle East and South Asia. She also worked at progressive organisations like Ashoka: Innovators for the Public, where she assisted social entrepreneurs utilising financial mechanisms to achieve transformational impact globally. Most recently, she was selected as a Kiva Fellow where she engaged with local microfinance organisations in Lebanon to develop and launch a number of catalytic loan themes, most specifically designed for Syrian migrants and refugees. She is passionate about creating systems change across the Middle East through social innovation and has been especially involved in numerous initiatives focused on the development and future rebuilding of Syria, with hopes to see the country and its peoples thrive and prosper.
Noura has a B.A. in Middle Eastern Studies from the George Washington University.

 

Ravindran Damodaran

Committee Member - Consulting

Ravindran is currently pursuing his MBA at Oxford Saïd. Prior to entering the MBA programme, he worked, for over 5 years, in management consulting and product development where he worked on various cross-border engagements involving stakeholders at all levels of the organizations. Ravi also holds an M.S. in Supply Chain Management from Purdue University in the US and an undergraduate degree in Engineering from Anna University in India.
Ravi is passionate about the use of management consulting as growth vehicles for development in the MENA region.
