Sixuan Ren

Chair

Sixuan is Chair of the Consumer and Marketing OBN. She started her career as a fashion editor on TV, then shifted into marketing work for various retail & luxury companies such as Swire and Lane Crawford; her last job before the MBA was a B2B marketing role at UK Trade & Investment (UKTI). She is particularly good at events, branding, communications, and international marketing. While her work has covered a wide spectrum of sectors, including retail, real estate, green energy, sustainable urbanisation, education, and technology, the area that she feels the most passionate about is that of luxury lifestyle.
Sixuan holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Journalism and Communication, and French Studies, from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she studied on full scholarship; she also has a Master of Arts in Film and Television Studies from University of Warwick, UK.
She loves wine tasting and writing, and has been relentlessly pursuing her interests: prior to Oxford, she just earned the WSET Level 3 Award with Merit in Wine & Spirits; she published her first novel 11 years ago, and was a contributor to leading fashion & lifestyle magazines like Elle.

 

 

  

 

Rona Aydin

Digital Manager

Rona is the Digital Manager of the Consumer and Marketing OBN. Prior to studying at Oxford, she worked in the financial services industry in the USA and in the UK. She also has experience living and working in Istanbul, Turkey. Most recently, she worked for a luxury retail startup, developing the business strategy and marketing strategy for the company. She is most passionate about making an impact for the consumer. After the MBA, Rona will be pursuing a career in the consumer goods industry.  Rona holds a Master of Arts degree in Economics from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Brandeis University in the United States.

 

   

Mehak Kharbanda

Committee Member - Internal Partnerships

Mehak manages internal partnerships for the Consumer and Marketing OBN. She started her career as an internal auditor with Deloitte, but moved into operational marketing management for premium and luxury goods across both online and offline channels. Prior to joining the MBA, she worked as Brand Executive at LVMH where she managed the pan India business for Dior Timepieces. Mehak enjoys the arts and travelling, and is trained in contemporary jazz dancing.
