1.45 - 2.15pm  Kenn Cukier: The New Rules of Business in an Age of Artificial Intelligence

How businesses operate, where value comes from and the role of human workers -- and their managers! -- all change as new techniques in artificial intelligence leave the lab and hit cubicle, boardroom and factory-floor. AI promises to unleash a boom in economic productivity but threatens traditional jobs and wages. Yet it requires society to rethink notions of work, as well as privacy constraints. Kenn considers how business leaders can harness AI's benefits and minimize its downsides.

2.15 - 3.00pm  Panel Discussion: The Impact of AI

Atif Ansar Director of the Masters in Major Programme Management and Mungo Wilson Associate Professor of Finance will join Kenn Cukier and other panellists to discuss the wide ranging impact of AI.

3.30 - 4.30pm  Exclusive Preview of the Foundry

Dean Peter Tufano invites you to join him in the Foundry for an introduction to the new building - a centre to foster entrepreneurialism across the entire University community but with key input from the School's Entrepreneurship and Skoll Centres. Guests are then invited to tour the building, meet staff and learn more about the exciting and innovative ideas that its members are already generating.
